Corbett Park holds the second largest tiger population in the nation after the Sunderbans. The current count is somewhere around 265 tigers.
Although you can visit whenever you want but it is still advisable to book your stay and safaris at least 2 months in advance to visit the best zones of Corbett National Park.
Major zones of the park are closed during monsoon however you can still visit for a few zones such as Jhirna & Dhela. These zones remain open throughout the year.
